Smart Amazon Product Tracker for Price Drop Alerts

Objective:

To fetch product details from Amazon and alert you if the price drops, because who doesn’t love a good deal? 💸

Implementation:

The workflow grabs product links from a database, scrapes product info, compares old vs new prices, updates the records, and, if there's a discount, sends you an email so you can grab it before it’s gone.

Outcome:

• Kick-off Daily: Schedule to run daily.
• Grabs Products from Airtable: It checks your list to see which items are being tracked.
• Launches the Scraper: The link is sent to Apify, which fetches the product’s name, price, and more.
• Pulls the Results: Once scraping is done, it collects all the fresh details.
• Updates the Product Info: It neatly saves everything back into your Airtable list (because organized data is happy data).
• Checks for Price Drops: If today’s price is lower than the last one, the flow gets excited 🤑
• Sends You an Email Alert: You get an email telling you “Hey, the price just dropped!” with a link to check it out.
• Keeps Things Updated: Whether the price dropped or not, it always saves the latest price for next time.
